There is a school of thought that human civilisation has already peaked and that we are hitting the downslope. Whoever thinks that has never used one of these incredible four colour Bic pens.
I only discovered the pen a few weeks ago when a colleague lent me hers. And my mind was blown. Apparently they’ve been around for years, but I’ve never noticed! They’re the greatest invention since the internet.
What I love is the versatility – there’s a colour for every mood and event.
Blue is your standard colour for everyday use; sensible but with a touch of panache. Perfect for the office.
Black is pure business – no messing around. You’d use it in a note to some lad that owed you a few bob and you wanted to lean on him a bit. Not that I condone that sort of thing.
Red is great craic – it’s fun, flirty, good times. Perfect for weekends or for the supporter of a sports team that wears red.
Green is the wild card and my favourite of the bunch. I write in green whenever the occasion calls for it. Some say that writing in green ink is the sign of a psychopath, but that’s silly!
This pen changed my life and it can change yours too. No home should be without one.
