US TikTok influencers are to hold an emotive dance protest outside the inauguration of President Elect Donald Trump on Monday.
TikTok will go dark in the US from tomorrow, unless they sell to a US investor due to the alleged threat posed by the app to US national security.
And TikTok influencers are not taking the news lying down, with a mass protest through the medium of dance to express just how #sad they are at the development.
“The government might be able to take away TikTok, but they can’t stifle freedom of expression,” said one influencer. “We’re going to bring TikTok to President Trump by showing him the power of dance.
It will be a day of love, a beautiful day. Just thousands of freedom loving influencers and their phones dancing their asses off.”
Dozens of prominent TikTokers are running posts with the caption “Big protest in D.C. on Jan 20th. Be there, will be wild!”
US Security forces are said to be unconcerned, but the Trump camp are worried they may have been compromised by TikTok double agents.
DTTN understands that any security agent who can dance will be stood down from the inauguration.
US social media platforms Facebook and X remain freely available to harvest data around the world.
