A local man has been charged with public indecency after being caught sunbathing naked in his back garden while working from home.
Willy Moore (34) caused a ruckus when he decided to take advantage of the fine weather by taking calls in on a sun lounger in his back garden.
Next door neighbour Prunella Prune (67) was alerted to Moore’s shenanigans when her grandchildren, who had been playing in her garden, ran to her crying.
“They’d heard Willy saying all sorts,” said Prune. “I could hear him talking about drilling down into granular details, having a soft quarter, all sorts of obscenities. That kind of talk might fly in the office but this is a nice neighbourhood.”
When Prune leaned over the fence to confront her neighbour she was shocked at what she saw.
“He was lying on a towel, wearing nothing but a headset and a pair of black socks. And he had his hand on, you know, his thing. I didn’t know where to look.”
Moore later explained to Gardai that it was his custom to absent mindedly play with himself to help focus during long Zoom calls.
Prune has revealed that her grandchildren, who will now only communicate in business jargon, have been sent for counselling.
