Fresh from the news that quarter one profits dropped by 71% Tesla have been dealt a further blow as a local driver has reported a 150% increase in dirty looks.
Sage O’Sullivan (38), who has owned a Tesla since 2023, has been left shaken by the dirty looks, which she has been more used to giving out than receiving.
“I’ve always been environmentally conscious,” said O’Sullivan. “I recycle everything, even if the label says it’s not suitable and I’m very active shaming corporations on social media. Tesla seemed the perfect fit for me.”
O’Sullivan reports that the looks started occurring when Tesla CEO Elon Musk aligned with the Trump administration and intensified when he gave what appeared to be a Nazi salute at a public address.
“At first I thought people were just upset because they weren’t able to afford a Tesla,” said O’Sullivan. “They’d stare, but then they started looked crosser and crosser. Some even made hand gestures. Obscene ones.”
The situation reached a nadir when O’Sullivan came out of a hot yoga class to find her Tesla had been daubed with a Swastika and thoroughly egged.
“It was traumatising. The eggs didn’t even look organic. It’s just barbaric.”
O’Sullivan is now actively looking to sell her Tesla on Carzone but so far no one has wanted to purchase a Swasticar.
