US President Donald Trump’s war against Covid-19 is getting personal.
The President is now set to face the virus at WWE Summerslam, after trash-talking it at his daily press conference.
“Covid-19 acts the tough guy, but he’s a coward. I’m calling him to face me man to man at Summerslam. I’m going to inflict a lot of pain. A tremendous amount.
I’m in incredible physical shape and undefeated in the ring. In fact no one has ever beaten me in any competition, ever!”
Trump, who previously appeared at Wrestlemania 23, is understood to be mainlining hydroxychloroquine in order to counter the virus’ main offensive weapons, and is working out for up to ten minutes a day at The White House gym.
The match-up will be a Mar-A-Lago street fight, with permitted weaponry including bleach, chlorinated chicken and steel chairs.
Critics have accused Trump of using base tactics to sway voters in an election year, a claim he rejects.
“I’m tough on Covid. The American people know this, which is why they want to see me kick its ass in the ring. I am literally fighting for this great country and our great economy. Who are the Democrats fighting at Summerslam?”
Democratic candidate Joe Biden has denied rumours of a steel cage match with The Rock.
