Manchester United fans call for Greece boycott

Manchester United fans around the world have come together to call for a boycott of Greece and  Greek products.

The move comes after United skipper Harry Maguire was found guilty of aggravated assault on a police officer and attempted bribery in a Greek court.

Maguire, who was holidaying in Mykonos, has received a 21 month suspended sentence.

“It’s a disgrace,” said a spokesperson for United Against Greece “Harry is a great family man and a United captain, an ambassador for our club like Cantona, Keane and Robson before him. No United captain would ever act like that.”

The spokesperson stated that Maguire was “clearly innocent” and that the allegations had been “cooked up by shady foreigners with their corrupt police forces.

When you see the way the Greeks are acting, it makes me glad I voted for Brexit,” he continued. “I’ll be going to Spain on my holidays next year. The beer’s cheaper there anyway.”

United Against Greece has called for an immediate boycott against Greece and its national products including olive oil and ouzo.

“I’ve thrown away all my Kojak DVDs” said the spokesperson. “I used to love Telly Savalas, but he can go fuck himself until we get justice for Harry.”

Maguire is also alleged to be a top class defender, but his lawyers told DTTN there is no evidence to support this claim.
