An Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has unleashed his Eric Cartman as he continues to do whatever the hell he feels like.
Cartman, the foul-mouthed 10 year old antagonist of the animated series South Park, is renowned for his selfish and amoral behaviour.
Varadkar has been ‘Cartmaning’ in recent weeks – first by leaking confidential government documents to his buddies and now by handing the diet Dominic Cummings, John Concannon, a cushy six figure public sector role.
“Whatever, whatever. I do what I want,” was Mr. Varadkar’s response when contacted by DTTN.
Mr. Varardkar stated that his critics were “a bunch of pussies like Kyle” and that they needed to “respect my AUTHORITAH!”
Fine Gael insiders are furious at Mr. Vardkar’s transformation from slick PR dream to gobby 10 year old, and are blaming Fianna Fail TD Willie O’Dea for lending his South Park boxset to The Tanaiste.
“O’Dea has a lot to answer for,” said a Fine Gael spokesperson. “Profanity and a bad attitude might be fine for Fianna Fail, but we hold our representatives to a higher standard.”
DTTN understands that Fine Gael plans to slip Mr. Varadkar a Little House on the Prairie boxset, in the hope that it’s saccharine sentiment may balance out the caustic Cartman edges.
